The Whistle Stop is a family owned restaurant cooking up good southern food just like your mom or grandma cooked. You can find us on the main street of Historic Glendale. Plan to spend the day dining with us at our home cooking family restaurant, then shop our Antique and Gift shops throughout town.

Enjoy fine dining and shopping in an authentic down home atomosphere. Many people have dined with us at the Whistle Stop Restaurant, including country music star Pam Tillis, Colonel Harlan Sanders (of KFC fame), and actor Bill Murray.

We opened a cafe bakery for those of you that don't have time to drive down to Glendale for lunch or dinner. You will find us in Elizabethtown in the Cool Springs Center on Ring Road. See our menu and information on The Whistle Stop Express.
