$150 feeds a family of 8 and includes, Turkey or Ham, Green beans, Mashed potatoes, Stuffing, Grav, Sweet potato casserole, Cranberry salad, Red Velvet cake or Pumpkin Pie. Meals are to be picked up the day before and reheated. Attention: Due to national Turkey shortage we may have to sub it out with a comparable meat, you would be notified of the change. Attention: Premium Holiday meal option Sub Prime Rib for the meat for an addition $7.50 a person.

Welcome to the Whistle Stop!

The Whistle Stop is a family owned restaurant cooking up good southern food in Kentucky just like your mom or grandma cooked. You can find us on the main street of Historic Glendale, Kentucky. Plan to spend the day dining with us at our home cooking family restaurant, then shop our Antique and Gift shops throughout town.

Enjoy fine dining and shopping in an authentic down home atmosphere. Many people have dined with us at the Whistle Stop Restaurant, including country music star Pam Tillis, Colonel Harlan Sanders (of KFC fame), and actor Bill Murray.

In addition to our home-style southern food that we offer in our restaurant in Kentucky. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you as well in our unique restaurant, which has been serving good home cooking for over 30 years.
