The Whistle Stop Express is located at 2407 Ring Road Suite 131 in Elizabethtown, KY. Sister of The Whistle Stop Cafe and Gift Shop in Historic Glendale, Kentucky The Whistle Stop has been a family owned restaurant since it was established in 1975, serving Southern food made from recipes handed down over the years. Most of our foods are made from scratch and have won awards throughout the years for our desserts, fried chicken, meat loaf, bean soup with fried corn bread, and many more favorites. We now have here in Elizabethtown a small Café to bring you some of our customer's favorites and a variety of Sandwiches, Soups, and Salads that are unique to this location. In addition, we offer cookies, brownies, pies, and cakes baked here by hand daily as long as they last. From Louisville we have the famous Graeter's Ice Cream, which we consider the best ice cream you will ever have.
